My wife and I have just disembarked from the Vasco da Gama in Perth and would like to thank your Company for the EXCELLENT way in which they ran our cruise in very trying circumstances. We were originally on the Columbus and changed ships near Phuket. The aborted cruise on the Columbus was going very well, with great meals, entertainment and good staff and it was a pity to leave but as you know there was no alternative. The staff on board were absolutely terrific and were a credit to your Company. Although they are faced with many uncertainties going forward with the current Corona virus problems their morale didn't seem to falter and their many smiling faces helped make our trip very enjoyable. A special mention must be made to the cabin staff who worked tirelessly throughout our trip (on both ships) and kept our cabins spotless. The hygiene on the ship was EXCELLENT and we believe your Company should be proud of it's reputation after getting your passengers back safely to Australia. Although this trip didn't turn out to be the voyage that we had hoped for, we are more than happy with the final result.

Your crew have been stoic in their service in keeping the ship so clean, the passengers well fed and entertained. We wish you all safe passage to your respective homes.

APRIL 2020

We were passengers on the Vasco da Gama that departed from Singapore to London on Monday 9th March 2020 and unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, had to return to Fremantle. We wish to express our sincere gratitude for the professional, friendly and caring service that was displayed during this challenging and unprecedented time. We cannot thank CMV and Captain Kolesnykov enough for the information that was provided in as timely a manner that was possible and for the outstanding care that we received. We fully intend to rebook this trip in 2021 and hope to see you again then.

I wanted to let you know that I am very proud of the Vasco da Gama! Well done to the captain and all his crew and staff for managing to keep all passengers and crew safe and well during the recent events. Congratulations! Safely back to Fremantle for all. Hooray, three cheers to you and your great ship!

As a person who contemplated sailing on a voyage from Australia to the UK on one of your ships this year, may I complement you on your complex logistical action to get UK passengers and Australian passengers back to their respective homelands. Well done CMV!!

Just wanted to record our thanks to the wonderful crew of the Vasco da Gama and CMV in general. The captain and crew have done a massive job to work their way thru the politics and red tape surrounding the current worldwide crisis. The company has been both generous and wise in its handling of refunds and future offers. We look forward to the cruise we thought we were going to have next year.

March 2020

Warm greetings from New Zealand. I am the son of two of your passengers on the Vasco da Gama who have recently returned to New Zealand from Fremantle today. While the 71 day cruise from Singapore to London did not go quite to plan as it effectively stopped after day 2 for them; I wanted to pass on my thanks to the crew on board the Vasco da Gama. My parents felt well supported and cared for during the entire time on the Vasco da Gama. I understand that this was not an easy time for the Captain and crew operating in a period of unprecedented uncertainty. This would have been just as unnerving time for them (and their families) as it was for those passengers on board trying to get home. This was my NZ parent's first cruise experience after waiting 40+ years to head back to the UK where my brothers and myself were born. So this was a well anticipated cruise for them. Their vote of confidence in your team, is to have another crack next year. I can only wish your on-shore administration team and crew on board the ship all the best as we navigate these unprecedented times. I hope that they stay safe and can return home to their loved ones. Our Prime Minister who has strongly led the rapid NZ response to this epidemic asks us to be kind. Your crew have been kind to my parents, and I wanted to make sure that this is recognised. Please pass on to your crew my thanks and best wishes. Nga mihinui ki a koutou (Kind regards to you all)

This is to advise how much we enjoyed our recent trip on Vasco da Gama. Our shore tour of Oakabella Homstead and other sites at Geraldton was exceptional (as was the weather - hot, hot, hot!) Score 20/10. Also I would like to acknowledge all your staff on their friendliness and helpfulness and the dancers/singers in the theatre were outstanding. Congratulate Cruise Director Freya please.

MARCH 2020

My daughter and I have recently returned from a twelve day cruise aboard Vasco da Gama and we would like to express our appreciation to CMV and to the entire crew from the Captain to our two cabin stewards for making our time on board so enjoyable. Although an older vessel than some today, the ship was nevertheless very well maintained, and our suite extremely comfortable with every amenity we could have asked for. The organisation of shore trips was very efficient, and the daily on board activities provided were many and varied, catering for most tastes With the introduction of two new vessels, we would hope that CMV continue to expand their operations into the Asia/ Pacific area in the years to come.

MARCH 2020

I wish to most sincerely thank the Captain, Officers and crew for a most delightful holiday. From the moment we boarded in Fremantle to disembarkation on the 25th January we were treated with respect and a smile by every crew member we came into contact with on board. The on-board entertainment, was fantastic and informative, the food plentiful, nutritious and well presented, particularly in the Waterfront restaurants. I must single out our housekeeper on deck 6, Tatiana, for special mention. Tatiana was a most delightful and cheerful lady; it appeared nothing was too much trouble for her in an effort to make passengers comfortable. I would be grateful if you could pass on my thanks to the Captain and Tatiana for making our first cruise such a memorable one. If this is what CMV is all about we will be cruising again for sure.
